This is a prototype showcasing the new Windows Presentation Foundation based user interface. It is lacking several features shown in Alpha 2, including dynamically loaded add-ins, client/server connectivity, calendar integration, localization.
Known issues:
This is a feature-incomplete pre-release showcasing some underlying technologies.
You can create a tournament on the server, specifying name and date. The date selection showcases two supplied add-ins that list possibly conflicting fencing events.
The tournament can be modified by adding a competition, notifying all clients working on that tournament. Many other related features present in Planche .NET 2004 PR1a are not available in this release.
The data is persisted to disk but is not yet read at startup.
This version demonstrates cross-platform capabilities.
Other things that are new: transport layer, Inductive UI framework, FOM implementations, add-ins
Introduced Inductive UI framework; new client-server connectivity
Very basic live WLAN connectivity with Arbitre on Pocket PC
